N.1
Thailand Family Holiday: City, Jungle and Sea
October to May
Bangkok · Phuket · Khao Sok· Khao Lak
15 days
Thailand has an extraordinary knack for making adventure feel easy.
Begin among the temples, canals and food markets of Bangkok before flying south for four wonderfully slow days in your own pool villa at Banyan Tree Phuket.
Then swap polished five-star comfort for something a little wilder. Deep in the rainforest at Elephant Hills, meet rescued Asian elephants, canoe along jungle rivers and sleep beneath canvas surrounded by the sounds of Khao Sok.
The final chapter takes you back to the coast, this time to the quieter shores of Khao Lak and the beautiful Devasom, where five lazy days beside the Andaman Sea give the journey an easy ending.
Thailand is one of our favourite family holiday destinations because it combines culture, wildlife and proper adventure with great hotels, warm hospitality and plenty of time simply to enjoy being together.
This fourteen-day adventure through Thailand, costs from £19,996 per family including flights and transfers based on 2 adults
and 2 children

Why Thailand is brilliant for families
Thailand has that rare combination of feeling properly adventurous while still being remarkably easy to travel through as a family. There are temples and tuk-tuks, tropical islands and rainforest, brilliant food and extraordinary wildlife — but also exceptional hotels, warm hospitality and plenty of time to simply enjoy being together.
This journey has been designed with that balance in mind. There’s excitement without constant packing, adventure without sacrificing comfort and enough downtime built in that it still feels like a holiday for the grown-ups too.
It’s one of the reasons Thailand works so well for families across a wide range of ages: younger children get the colour, wildlife and excitement; older children get more independence and adventure; and parents still get beautiful hotels, good food and a holiday that feels like
theirs as well.

Babies & toddlers
0-2
Easy days, beautiful stays
For the youngest travellers, Thailand can be surprisingly straightforward. Private transfers, spacious accommodation and plenty of resort time make the journey comfortable, while parents still get to experience somewhere extraordinary.
Small caveat: Elephant Hills is suitable from age four, so for younger families we'd adapt this part of the journey.

Little explorers
3-6
Every day feels different
This is where Thailand becomes magical. Longtail boats, tuk-tuks, tropical fruit, enormous temples and a night in the jungle make every stop feel like a new adventure - without days being over-planned.

Young Adventurers
7-10
Adventure without overload
Perhaps the sweet spot for this journey. Children are old enough to appreciate Bangkok and really embrace Elephant Hills, but young enough for elephants, jungle canoes and sleeping beneath canvas to feel completely thrilling.

Tweens & Teens
11-18
A world beyond the resort
Thailand gives teenagers something genuinely interesting to engage with: street food, different cultures, wildlife, bustling cities and proper adventure — alongside beautiful pools, beaches and enough freedom to make the holiday feel like theirs too.

Grown ups
A holiday for you too
Beautiful hotels, wonderful food and a properly paced itinerary mean nobody has to sacrifice the things they enjoy simply because they’re travelling as a family.
Is Thailand easy with kids?
Very. Domestic flights are straightforward, private transfers are easy to arrange and the standard of family accommodation is excellent. The key is not trying to see too much. Bangkok, one jungle stop and one beach base is often a better family trip than racing through five destinations.

Your journey, not ours
Think of this itinerary as a starting point.
Travelling with younger children? We might slow it down and reduce the number of stops. Want more island time? We’ll add it. Prefer Khao Lak over Phuket, or a different style of hotel? Easy. Want to head deeper into Thailand? We can do that too.
The important bit isn’t following this journey exactly. It’s understanding your family well enough to create the right one.
