From the vibrant energy of Bangkok to the tranquil beaches of southern Thailand, this extraordinary 23-night journey combines cultural discovery, island escapes, immersive wilderness experiences and luxurious coastal retreats. Travelling from the capital to Koh Samet, Chiang Mai, Krabi and Khao Lak, it reveals a wonderfully diverse side of Thailand, with each destination offering a distinctive rhythm and atmosphere.

The adventure begins with a Qatar Airways journey from London Heathrow via Doha, arriving in Bangkok on 12 December. Two nights at Cassia Rama 9 Bangkok by Banyan Group, staying in a spacious two-bedroom family apartment, provide a comfortable base from which to experience the capital.

From Bangkok, the journey moves towards the coast, travelling by road to Ban Phe Pier before crossing by speedboat to Koh Samet. Four nights at Kira Baya Koh Samed, in a two-bedroom family villa, offer a complete change of pace, surrounded by the laid-back beauty of this tropical island.

The journey then returns to Bangkok, where three nights at the iconic Shangri-La Bangkok provide a more luxurious city experience. Located in Bangkok City Centre, the hotel places you close to the Chao Phraya and some of the capital's celebrated attractions, with interconnecting Deluxe Rooms creating a comfortable arrangement for the family.

Next comes Chiang Mai, reached by a short flight from Bangkok. Two nights at De Chai the Deco Chiang Mai put the city’s historic heart within easy reach, including Tha Phae Gate, the Night Bazaar, Warorot Market and Sunday Walking Street.

The northern adventure becomes even more immersive with a two-day, one-night experience at Elephant Hills Bush Camp. Set beside the Ping River in a remote natural environment, the experience combines daily elephant encounters with an introduction to Karen culture and the landscapes and ecosystems of Northern Thailand. After returning to Chiang Mai, a further three nights at De Chai the Deco provide time to relax and enjoy more of this atmospheric northern city.

From Chiang Mai, the journey turns south towards Krabi, where two nights at Hula Hula Resort, Ao Nang Beach introduce a more leisurely coastal chapter. With an outdoor pool, gardens, terraces and complimentary beach shuttle, the resort offers an inviting base for enjoying the scenery and beaches of the Andaman coast.

Then comes one of the most memorable experiences of the entire journey: a two-day adventure to Cheow Lan Lake and Khao Sok National Park. Staying overnight in a floating raft house, the experience combines longtail-boat travel, paddling, jungle exploration, wildlife spotting and traditional Thai cuisine. Immersed in the peaceful surroundings of the national park, it provides a spectacular contrast to the country's beach resorts and cities.

The final chapter unfolds on the shores of Khao Lak, where four nights at Apsara Beachfront Resort and Villa bring the journey to a wonderfully relaxed conclusion. Set on tranquil Pakarang Beach, the eco-friendly resort is surrounded by tropical landscapes, with white sands, secluded surroundings and the possibility of spectacular sunsets. The accommodation includes a two-bedroom Family Pool Villa alongside a Pool Access Room, creating an idyllic setting for the final days of the holiday.

On the last day, a final transfer to Phuket Airport begins the journey home, flying with Qatar Airways via Doha before arriving back at London Heathrow.

From Bangkok's cosmopolitan energy and Koh Samet's island tranquillity to the cultural character of Chiang Mai, the wilderness of Khao Sok and the serene beaches of Khao Lak, this is a beautifully varied exploration of Thailand. A captivating journey that blends family-friendly comfort, cultural immersion, exhilarating adventure and tropical relaxation, thoughtfully curated by Club Voyages.
